Obituary
Mildred R. Wiest, 98, formerly of Oley, died May 10, 2022 at Lutheran Home at Topton, Longswamp Township.
She was the widow of Harold S. Wiest who died March 22, 2014.
Born, June 7, 1923, in Exeter Township, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Hafer) Ruppert.
Mildred was employed as a seamer with Berkshire Knitting Mills for 15 years, retiring in 1959.
She was a member of Frieden’s Lutheran Church, Oley.
Mildred was very actively involved with the Oley Fire Company and helping with their annual events.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Mildred was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Walker, and by her two brothers, H. Richard Ruppert and Donald Ruppert.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 14th at 10 a.m. at Frieden’s Cemetery, 337 Main Street, Oley, with Rev. Donna House officiating.
