Nancy "Tubby" Jane Kintzer Ernst

Nancy Jane “Tubby” Kintzer Ernst, 58, of Muhlenberg Township died unexpectedly in Penn State Health / St. Joseph on January 26, 2024.

She was the wife of Terry Leon Ernst Jr., whom she married May 24, 2002.

Born in West Reading, PA on July 24, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Fannie Louise (Bowers) Kintzer.

Nancy was employed as a line worker with Brentwood Industries, Cumru Township for several years.

She was also a foster care mother for a number of years.

Nancy liked collecting dragons, witches, and barbie dolls.  She also enjoyed baking, making jewelry, and tracing her Indian heritage.

She loved spending time with her family and dogs; going to the Wildwood, New Jersey beaches and riding motorcycles with Terry.

Nancy is also survived by three children: Michael Matthew Lupovich; Lisá Dorsey; and Hannah, wife of Timothy Cutshaw of Orwigsburg and a grandson, Henrik Charles Cutshaw.

Other survivors include her mother-in-law, Lucille, widow of Terry Ernst Sr., of Laureldale and her dogs: Chopper and Mr. Crowley; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was one of seven siblings: Lori, Joanne, Terry, Sandy, Barry, and Debbie.

Nancy was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Dorsey Jr.

Services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
