Oren Bingaman Brungart, Jr., 92, of Wyomissing, died September 4, 2025 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
He was the husband of Marie Catherine (Boulanger) Brungart, whom he married October 18, 1958.
Born April 28, 1933, in Sunbury, Northumberland County, he was a son of the late Oren B. Sr., and Violet Kathleen (Miller) Brungart.
Oren was a 1951 graduate of Selinsgrove High School, Snyder County, PA.
He was a proud United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Oren was employed 38 years as a machinist with Rockwell International, Reading, retiring in 1998.
He was also previously employed as a bartender with The Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Reading.
Oren loved gardening, landscaping, cutting his grass, and most importantly, spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.
Oren is also survived by three children: Thomas M., husband of Bridget (Urbany) Brungart, Severna Park, Maryland; Julie M., (Brungart), wife of Colin E. Rooney, Sr., of Mechanicsville, Maryland; and Amy L. Brungart of Cumru Township.
He was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Brooke L. Brungart; Colin E. Rooney, Jr.; Tori M. Brungart; Sean M. Rooney; and Abbie L. Rooney.
He is also survived by a sister, Sonja R. (Brungart) Hassinger of Milton, PA.
Oren was predeceased by siblings: William A. Brungard; Jacqueline S. Leitzel; Verna C. Brungart; John F. Yeager; Madelon J. Lindner; and Shirley Goodling.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 9th at 11:00 am in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township.
