Patricia (Pat) Alice (Cann) Stimer, 84, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.
Born July 13, 1939 in Philipsburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late John C. Cann and Ethel Mae (Bailey) Cann-Wagner.
Pat was a member of the very first graduating class of Bald Eagle Area High School in 1957, and a member of the Port Matilda Baptist Church where she enjoyed participating in the Women’s Bible Study and serving with the Kitchen Ministry.
She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many lucky enough to be part of her life. She worked many jobs as a waitress, librarian, factory worker, cashier and chef, sometimes working 2 jobs at a time to provide a good life for her children. No matter what life threw her way, she persevered and let those experiences strengthen her. She loved sharing recipes and cooking for others and was especially known for her famous potato salad. Pat enjoyed sitting on her front porch watching little league games, and spending time with her family and many friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her son, Michael Price, grandson, Jeremy Traxler, brother, Thomas Cann, and husband Dennis Stimer. Surviving are 2 daughters, Lisa (Sandie Cox) Price of Pensacola, FL, and Sherri (Chris) Traxler of Oley, PA, daughter in law, Vickie Price of Port Matilda, PA; 3 step sons, Steve (Teresa) Stimer of Savannah, GA, Chris (Gay) Stimer, Pleasant Gap, PA, and Jeremy (Kylene) Stimer of Julian, PA; 12 grandchildren, Travis (Kristi) Price of Bellefonte, PA, Ashley (Ron) Mossie, Oley, PA, and Danielle (Justin) Cain of Bellefonte, Allen Moore, Chase Stafford, Eric Stimer, Nicole Stimer, Shane Stimer, Aften Stimer, Vanessa Walk, and Kiera Walk; 10 great grandchildren, Luka, Kylie, Brynn, Braylon, Adison, Aviana, Coley, Brooklyn, Tanner and Harper.
