Patricia Gail Nolan Obituary

Patricia Gail Nolan, 69, of Lower Alsace Township, died January 20, 2025 in Tower Health / Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Elias “Lee” Herrera, whom she married May 19, 1990.

Born January 4, 1956 in Raleigh, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James M. Nolan, Sr., and Annie F. (Powers) Nolan.

Gail was a 1974 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Plymouth Meeting, PA.

She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Exeter Township.

Gail was employed for nearly 30 years as a real estate agent with First Choice Real Estate, Clearwater, Florida.

She was later employed for 4 years with kitchen services at Central Catholic High School, Reading, before retiring in 2011.

Gail was a passionate supporter and advocate for our military veterans.

She loved going to concerts, dancing, reading, horse shows, sailing, gardening, the beach, and her yearly family reunions.

Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Gail is also survived by two children: Jake N. Herrera and Katie T. Herrera, companion of Michael S. Werich, all of Lower Alsace Township; and two grandsons: Micah S. Werich, and Nikko O. Werich.

Other survivors include her step-mother, Margaret M. (McFarlane) Nolan, of Oldsmar, Florida and three sisters: Bridget L. (Nolan), wife of Berl Black of Severna Park, Maryland; Theresa K. (Nolan), wife of William Raimondi of Maple Glen, PA; and Sharon K. Lynch of Oldsmar, Florida, as well as 4 nieces Sarah, Samantha, Elizabeth, Nicole and 2 nephews Michael and Christopher..

She was predeceased by her brother, James M. Nolan, Jr. (1958-2017), and a nephew, William Joseph Hord (1973-2017).

A viewing will be held Friday, January 24th from 10:00 - 11:00 am in St. Catharine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am.
