Pauline June Hess, 95, died February 10, 2024 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.
Born June 6, 1928, in Perry Township, she was a daughter of the late Earl John and Pearl Elmira (Hoffman) Hess.
She was a graduate of Perry High School and earned her associate degree from Reading Business Institute and Reading Bible Institute.
Pauline was employed as a missionary in Child Evangelism Fellowship for many years.
She played in the Centerport Band for a number of years.
Surviving are her three siblings: Ella K. Hess of Berks Heim; John M. Hess of Keystone Villa at Fleetwood; and Grace E. (Hess), widow of Charles Wuestner of Willow Valley, Lancaster County.
Also surviving are her four nieces, three nephews, six great nieces, nine great nephews, one great-great niece, and two great-great nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by three siblings: Earl G. Hess, Ray L. Hess, husband of Dolores Hess of Honey Brook, Chester County; and Arthur H. Hess. In addition, she was preceded in death by a niece, Donna J. Eckert.
Services will be held Saturday, February 17th at 10 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Burial will follow services in Zion Church Cemetery, Windsor Township.
