Peggy Sue Berringer

Peggy Sue Berringer, 66 of Temple, passed away October 21, 2024 in the Reading Hospital. 

Born October 10, 1958 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Jacquelyn D. (Mengel) Laskey, Jr. 

Peggy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Reading, where she was active on the church counsel and the witness committee. 

She was most recently employed by Stone Ridge Retirement Community, Myerstown.

Peggy had also been active with the Reading Assembly Order of the Rainbow for Girls.

Surviving is her sister; Cay E., wife of Scott A. Seidel of Temple, nephew; Scott A. Seidel Jr. and his partner Lyndsey Seelig of Muhlenberg, great nieces Kennedy Seelig and Madeline Seidel. 

She also will be missed by her Cats: Becca, Lucy and Jonas.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 11 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 1301 Luzerne St, Reading, Pennsylvania 19601. A visitation will be held from 10-11 at the church. It was Peggy’s wish that people avoid wearing dark or dull colors to the celebration. 

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
