Rexen Eliphas Francis

Rexen Eliphas Francis, 67, of Leesport, passed away May 22, 2018 in ManorCare, West Reading. He was the husband of Loraine Kay ( Buckwalter) Francis, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.  

Born in Zimbabwe on June 1, 1950, he was a son of the late Emma Senda.  

Rexen received his associate degree in criminal justice from Reading Area Community College.  

He was a member of Ark Bible Chapel, Boyertown.  

Rexen was employed by National Railways as a foreman in Zimbabwe and later worked for East Penn Manufacturing.  

He loved fishing, hunting and gardening.  

Surviving in addition to his wife are his five children: Catherine F. Francis of Allentown; Irene A. wife of Michael Salmon of Naperville, IL; Godfree T. Francis and his wife Ollatta of Washington; Doreen Francis of Washington State and Gloria P. Francis of Leesport.  

Also surviving are his brothers; Atwell and Luke Siziba of Zimbabwe ; a sister Pauline Moyo of Zimbabwe; eight grandchildren: Charlene Maponga, Clayton Moyo, Yousouff Francis, Nathan Francis, Nicole Manzou, Kealan Salmon, Ramia Santos, and Davion Baylis and two great grandchildren; Carter Moyo and Maita Maponga  

Services will be held Saturday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. in Ark Bible Chapel, 88 Woodchoppertown Road, Boyertown, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services. 

Burial will be in Oley Valley Mennonite Church Cemetery.
