Robert F. Campfield, Sr.

Robert F. Campfield, Sr., 73, formerly of Hatfield, died January 19, 2025 at Jewel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown.

Born January 6, 1952, in Scranton, he was a son of the late Thomas and Marion (Hunt) Campfield.

Robert grew up in Willow Grove, and graduated from Archbishop Wood High School, Warminster, PA in 1969.

He was employed with Herr’s Foods for over 5 years, and subsequently worked in customer service, which was his passion.  He worked in this capacity for a variety of convenience stores, including multiple Wawa stores.  He was also the owner and operator of a 7-Eleven store in Stowe in the 80’s.

Robert is survived by his four children: Stephanie A., wife of Ronald L. Frederick of Oley; Jennifer L. Essig of Oley; Robert F. Campfield, Jr., husband of Jessica N. Campfield of New Tripoli, and William E. Campfield, husband of Julianne R. Campfield of Boyertown.

There are also six grandchildren surviving: Ashley L. Essig, Alexandra C. Frederick, Eric F. Essig, Laura E. Frederick, Emma R. Campfield, and Allison R. Campfield.

Other survivors include his two siblings: Thomas M. Campfield, Jr. of Stamford, CT and Mary T. Shivy of Skippack.

In addition, he is survived by four nieces and one nephew.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Martin J. Campfield.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
