Robert Magaro Sr, 78, died of natural causes on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was preceded by his wife Barbara Magaro, and survived by his 3 biological children, 4 stepchildren, 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
He served in the U.S.M.C during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the purple heart. After his service he returned home to Reading where he was an avid bingo player, a big Eagle’s fan, and a lover of Cadillacs. He had a love for collecting vinyl records/albums and played every single one. His love for doo-wop ran deep, and translated when he spent years as a radio personality under the name “Doo-Wop Bobby”.
