Robert Ray Moyer, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Ray Moyer Jr., who left this world peacefully on January 10, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, surrounded by his loving
family. 

Bob was born July 31, 1950, in Reading, PA. He was the son of the late Robert Ray and Nancy Jane (Heffner) Moyer-Perry, and husband of the late Patricia Ann (Dengler) Moyer. 

Bob was a man who genuinely loved life and embraced its many adventures. He served his country during Vietnam aboard the USS Saratoga. His dedication to service was a testament of
his courage and strength, traits he carried with him throughout his life.

As a self-employed antique dealer, Bob built a career he took great pride in, using his creativity and tireless work ethic. Bob had a gift for seeing what others might overlook. Whether it was the
curve of an arrowhead nestled in the dirt, the glint of an antique bottle catching sunlight, or the fossilized imprint in stone, Bob found beauty and history wherever he went. He shared his love
of exploration, discovery, and history with his children, creating cherished memories during their adventures.

Bob, a devoted father, made sure to share his passions with his kids, including his love for music. He made it a point to give each of them an unforgettable experience of live performances
by his favorite artist, The Allman Brothers Band. His wisdom and integrity were unwavering, offering life advice and standing firmly for what was right, a legacy of character and strength that
will live on in those who knew him.

Bob’s presence brought light, laughter, and love to everyone around him. Though his absence will leave an ache in our hearts, his memory will forever be a source of comfort, laughter, and
inspiration.

Surviving are his children: Gregg Erik, husband of Becca Moyer of Newmanstown, PA; Jared H., husband of Gina Moyer of Spring Township, and Jennifer, wife of Donald Marks of Spring
Township. Six loving Grandchildren also survive.

In addition are his siblings: Stephen Todd Moyer of Spring Township; Terrence, husband of Jan Moyer of Spring Township; Nadine, wife of James Mickucki of Hamburg and Drew Moyer of
Florida. 
A private service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of his family.
