Robert Lyman Rhoads

Robert Lyman Rhoads, 69 of Birdsboro, passed away June 30, 2024 at Penn State St. Joseph.

Born March 16, 1955 in West Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Paul F. and Betty Louise Rhoads.

He was a 1974 graduate of Oley Valley High School. 

Robert was a truck driver for over 20 years and was employed by Empire Wrecking and Delaware Valley Contractors.

He enjoyed fishing and small game hunting. 

Robert is survived by his siblings: Carolyn L., widow of Ronald Rohrbach of Boyertown;  Betsy  A. Troxel of Reading, Mary Jane, wife of Gary Jablonski of Phoenixville, Glenn A. Rhoads of Oley, Sandra Mae, wife of John Valgus of Fleetwood, Steven Paul, husband of Beth Rhoads of Oley.

Also surviving are  12 Nieces and nephews  and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister: Ruth M. Troxel.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 8th at 11am at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
