Robert William Reed Jr.

Robert William Reed, Jr. (Bob “Bobby” Reed), 73, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 25, 2025, at Tower Health – Reading Hospital.

Born November 6, 1952, in Reading, he was the son of the late Robert W. Reed, Sr. and Elsa Holstrom. He was also predeceased by his stepmother, Marie Reed, and by his sister, Patricia Ann Reed of Kenhurst, Pennsylvania.

Bob was a 1970 graduate of Reading High School, where he participated on the track and field team. He later retired from employment with the City of Reading. He spent much of his life in the Reading area and was known for his interest in shopping for gold, antiquing, visiting flea markets, fishing, and repairing clocks. He especially enjoyed doing business weekly at Renninger’s and Adams Antiques in Denver.

He is survived by his children, Danielle L. Reed of Sinking Spring, Cindy S. Reed-Snyder of Wyomissing, Lily H. Reed of Schuylkill Haven, and Elijah L. Reed of Schuylkill Haven. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alana, Gabriella and Joe, and by his dear aunt, Mary Edmondson of New Holland, Pennsylvania.

Services will be private at the convieince of the family.
