Roderick Leon Heller, 71, passed away July 31, 2024 in his Muhlenberg township residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the husband of Katy (Conrad) Heller.
Born July 26, 1953, in Valley Forge, he was the son of the late Edmund and Evelina (Fedirici) Heller.
Roderick worked as a maintenance mechanic at Dana Corporation for a majority of his career. He was also a member of the Alsace pool team and enjoyed playing at the fire company. Roderick enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp in Lycoming County and especially loved being around his two dogs; Ziggy and Stardust.
Surviving are his two children; Melissa Heller of Hamburg and Alex, husband of Kelly (Grumbline) Barlet.
Also surviving are his five grandchildren: Samantha Nolan, Anthony Loy-Heller, Robert J. Walker, husband of Alejandra (Frutos), Kendra Barlet, and Hunter Barlet. As well as four great grandchildren: Aymen, Nora, Montana, and Jacob Leon.
In addition, he is survived by his daughter-in-law, Desiree Heller of Wyomissing, mother-in-law, Betty Conrad of Laureldale, and his aunt, Glory Eitner.
Roderick was predeceased in death by his sister Cynthia Heller.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7th from 6-8 p.m. at Stitzel family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605.
