Rodney Wayne Robitzer, 73, of Collegeville, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Columbia Cottage Assisted Living surrounded by his loving family.
Born November 26, 1952, in West Reading, he was the son of the late Rodney Wilford Robitzer and Barbara Ann (Bodenhorn) Robitzer.
Rodney was a 1970 graduate of Wyomissing High School. He later went on to obtain his associate’s degree from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE.
During his working years he owned a general contractor business, Robitzer Home Improvements, for 35 years. Rodney was also once the president of the Birdsboro Lions Club and loved to play golf. He even had a hole in one at Chapel Hill Golf Course on hole #8.
Surviving are two daughters Samantha (Robitzer) Cooke, wife of James of Texas, and Stephanie (Robitzer) Haddad, wife of David of Collegeville.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Natalie and Noah Cooke, and Phoebe and Parker Haddad. Rodney also leaves behind two siblings, Jay Robitzer and Jamie Robitzer, husband of Cathy, niece Aubree wife of Michael Hiscox, and nephew Tyler. Along with his partner of many years, Jeri Fenster.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Columbia Cottage or Gentiva Hospice for their supportive and loving care of Rodney.
