Obituary
Sara Ruth Bernhart, left this world suddenly at age 45, on July 29th, 2022, in her Alsace Township residence.
Born in Boyertown, she is the daughter of Virginia Mae (Bernhart) Lotz, and step-father Thomas Lotz.
Sara was a 1994 graduate of Boyertown High School and also graduated from Alvernia University, earning her Bachelor's Degree.
She was a disabled U.S. Army Veteran. Sara did a great amount of volunteer work for the American Disabled Veterans and Veterans in general.
In addition to her mother and step-father, Sara is survived by and a devoted mother to her son: Nicholas Fasig, Temple; two sisters; Kim Stribling, Flushing, MI; and Mae Beth Oberholtzer, Rohoboth, DE. One niece, Angel, two nephews, Anthony and Justin, and ten great nieces and nephews also survive her.
A celebration of life service will be held Friday, August 5th, 2022, at 3:30 PM, at Stitzel Family Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. A visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service in the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sara's name to Holy Spirit Horse and Animal Sanctuary, 131 Justa Rd, Wernersville, PA 19565, and/or to Disabled American Veterans, 5000 Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19144.
