Scott Bryon Levan, Sr., 66, died January 23, 2024 in his Temple residence.
He was the husband of Gina L. (Holland) Levan, who he married on November 20, 1976.
Born in West Reading, PA on November 24, 1957, he was a son of the late Harrison Joseph Levan.
Scott was a 1975 graduate of Reading High School.
He was employed for 34 years as an independent owner/operator with Bimbo Bakeries and Stroehmann Bakeries, with his route sales covering Fleetwood, Oley, Muhlenberg, and Exeter to name a few, last working January 2022. He previously worked as a truck driver for several years with B&J Foods, Reading. He was also a member of Teamsters Local #429, Reading.
Scott was a baseball coach with MTAA and the Muhlenberg A’s. He enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, playing with various teams throughout the years in the City/County Leagues.
He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies, Las Vegas Raiders, and NASCAR fan.
Scotts free time was spent with family and friends or building replica NASCAR model cars. Scott also loved family vacations to the beach.
He is also survived by two children: Scott B. Levan Jr., and Stacey L. Levan, both of Temple.
Scott was the proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Andrew Levan, Scott Levan III, Sean Levan, Madison Levan, and Olivia Rice.
He was the older brother of two sisters: Michelle, wife of Charles Miller of Akron, Lancaster County, and Kimberly Levan of Reading.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 26th from 2:00 – 3:00 PM in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, with a memorial service starting at 3:00 PM.
Inurnment will be held privately in Laureldale Cemetery Mausoleum.
