Shawn M. Rowe

Shawn M. Rowe, 45, of South Lebanon Township, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was taken there following a hunting accident in Potter County on Saturday, April 29.

He was the husband of Jaime Elizabeth (Lochman) Rowe, whom he married on May 1, 2004.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, on October 26, 1977, he was a son of David E. and Peggy J. (Payne) Rowe.

Shawn was a 1996 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School and a 2001 graduate of Shippensburg University.

He was employed for 17 years as a probation officer with the Dauphin County Probation Office until 2021.

Shawn was also the owner/operator of Rowe Squared Construction since 2011 and ran the business full-time after retiring from Dauphin County.

He loved spending time with his family, especially outdoors and traveling.

Shawn is also survived by two sons: Connor J. Rowe, a student at Cedar Crest High School, and Bryce H. Rowe, a student at South Lebanon Elementary.

Other survivors include two siblings: Michael D., husband of Rachael A. (Williard) Rowe of Brecknock Township, and Amie L. (Rowe), wife of Robert Savidge, of Berrysburg, PA.

There are also nieces and nephews surviving: Joshua M. Rowe, Emily J. Savidge, Eden L. Savidge, and Jared D. Rowe.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Frederic K. Miller Chapel at Lebanon Valley College, East Sheridan Ave & College Ave, Annville, PA 17003, with a memorial service to begin at 5 p.m. Parking will be available in the Red Lot Parking Lots off Heisey Road at the athletic fields.
