Shirley Mae (Faust) LaBrecque

Shirley Mae LaBrecque, 84 of Temple passed away peacefully November 11, 2022 in her home. She was the wife of Earl S. LaBrecque.

Born June 29, 1938 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Ida Mae (Wentzel) Faust, Sr.

Shirley was a hard worker. She loved Christmas, baking cookies but most especially she loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving in addition to her husband are her two daughters: Debra Nguyen and her partner Todd Schoonover of Temple and Michelle LaBrecque-Walker, wife of Gary Walker of Mohnton.

Also surviving are her grandchildren: Matthew, husband of Tania Nguyen of Exeter and Karissa, wife of Chase Musser of Furlong.

In addition are her great grandchildren: Julian, Jenna and Jacob Nguyen and Coen and Liv Musser. Brother-in-law Edgar Austin and sister-in-law Kathleen Faust.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Walter J. Faust, Jr., June C. Austin and Richard J. Faust.

A funeral service will be held November 18th at 12pm from the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 

11-12 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
