Teresa Kay (Ulrich) Perfetto

Teresa Kay “Teri” (Ulrich) Perfetto, 71, died January 23, 2025 in her Bern Township residence.

Born September 13, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Jacob and Joyce Laverne (Moyer) Ulrich.

Teri was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School, where she was an active member of the band front, basketball player and many other clubs.

She was employed in the insurance industry, and was an office manager with Chester Perfetto Agency, Spring Township for over 20 years and co-owner of TravelSafe.

Teri was a longtime member of Heidelberg Country Club, holding many board positions, including President, which she held for several years; and provided endless support to the Annual Ladies Invitational.

Memberships to associations she held include: WGA of HCC, Women’s Berks County Golf Association (WBCGA), and Women’s Central Penn Golf Association (WCPGA). Teri was also an active member of Restoring Hope of Berks County.

She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Denver Broncos, and Penn State football. She and her son enjoyed many games together. She had a love of country music and enjoyed countless country music concerts with family and lifelong friends.

Teri was known for her big heart, kindness and generosity. Her grandchildren, and all their friends, knew her as “Mimi.” 

Surviving is her son, Thomas James Perfetto, husband of Jamie (Miller) Perfetto of Bern Township; and her two grandchildren, Tyler Perfetto, fiancé of Ava Clauser and Marissa Perfetto, fiancée of Joseph Bakanowski.

Teri was preceded in death by her best friend and partner, Scott D. Perfetto in 2020.

A viewing will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.  In honor of Teri's love of the Phillies, please wear your Phillies gear, or dress in red and white.
