Terry Paul Abraham, 74, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 in his Rockland Township Residence.
He was the loving husband of Carol Ann (Hafer) Abraham, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
Born May 28, 1950, he was the son of the late Paul Frederick Abraham and Estella (Nagel) Abraham Minnich.
Terry was a 1969 graduate of Exeter High School. After school he went on to serve his country as a Sergeant in the US Air Force. Serving as a jet mechanic during the Vietnam War. Later in life, he worked at Deka Battery for 42 years and retired as a supervisor in 2010.
He was an active member in the community. Terry was a lifetime member of the Schuylkill County Motorcycle Club, National Rifle Association, American Motorcycle Association, HOG Harley Owners Group, and was the president of the 15 Hunters Lodge in Sullivan County.
When Terry found free time he enjoyed riding his Ultra Limited Harley-Davidson with his wife. They would take trips riding across the country with some trips lasting weeks. He was a man of many talents and enjoyed tinkering with his cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Terry loved to be outside any chance he got. Camping, hunting, and target shooting were some of his favorite hobbies. As well as spending time with his loving cat, Toby.
Surviving is one half-brother, Paul “Skip” Abraham of Oley and one stepsister, Cindy (Keffer) Gimont, wife of Joseph Kimont of Wyomissing.
Two brother-in-laws are also surviving, Leory Hafer, husband of Kathy (Kemp) Hafer of Exeter, and Russell Hafer, husband of Joan (Kercher) Hafer of Reading.
Also surviving are two nieces, Ann Marie (Hafer), wife of Mark Reich of Reading and Lisa Ann (Hafer), wife of Dean Evans of Bernville. As well as one step niece, Bonnie Guinther.
He was predeceased in death by one brother, Robert A. Abraham (2008) and one step brother, William Keffer.
One niece and nephew were also predeceased, Benjamin Abraham and Kelli Hafer.
Also predeceased was one step-nephew, Bruce Guinther, and a stepmother, Dawn (Langle) Abraham.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 28, at 11 AM at Friden’s Cemetery in Oley.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League or the Disabled Veterans National Foundation.
