Thomas Ferguson

Thomas Francis “Tom” Ferguson, 95, formerly of Fayetteville, NY, died February 26, 2024 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, PA.
He was the widower of Marjorie Jane (Mullane) Ferguson, with whom he raised a family and shared 61 years of marriage. 
Born October 4, 1928, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Heffernan) Ferguson.
Tom was a1949 graduate of Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School and subsequently, enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Upon his honorable
discharge, he attended Columbia University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in 1957.
He was employed as a trust officer with several banks in New York State working in Niagara Falls, Syracuse, Nyack and New York City. He retired in 2009 from M&T Bank in Syracuse as a Senior Vice President.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Fayetteville, NY.
Surviving are his three sons: Ian, husband of Teri (Sterling) Ferguson of Pittsburgh, PA;
Timothy J., husband of Anne Marie (Shemanski) Ferguson of Temple, PA; and Thomas A., husband of Kristel (DiGravio) Ferguson of Rutherglen, VA. In addition, Tom leaves four grandchildren: Daniel Stettler, Molly Ferguson, Thomas R. Ferguson, and Liam Ferguson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 2nd at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville, NY 13066.  A visitation will be held from 9-10 in the church.  Burial will follow the Mass at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
