Obituary
Virginia Dorothy Gerhart, 91, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully March 14, 2023 in Magnolias of Lancaster.
She was the devoted wife of the late Richard Earl Gerhart, who passed January 30, 2021.
Born in Reading, PA on March 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Emma (Strause) Hinnershitz.
Surviving is her daughter; Karen, wife of Kerry Madeira of Fleetwood, grandchildren: Chris, husband of Amy Madeira of Wyomissing and Carissa Madeira Noel, wife of Drew of Lancaster; great grandsons; Emmett Noel and Sullivan Noel.
To those who knew and loved her, Virginia was a beacon of joy. She was loving and kind and had a smile that could light up a room. She was truly selfless and she loved her family with all her heart. She will be missed dearly, but we take comfort in the fact that her faith was strong and her life goes on.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Zion Spies Cemetery.
