Warren Harrison Fisher, 99, of Laureldale, passed away June 4, 2025.
He was the widower of Betty Jane (Mattern) Fisher, who died in 2013.
Born on March 11, 1926, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Carrie (Rohrbach) Fisher.
Warren attended Reading High School and left early to serve our country in the Navy.
Warren proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was
stationed primarily in the South Pacific on the USS Kline. He loved wearing his tin can
sailor hat.
After returning home, he worked as a machinist for the Karl Lieberknecht Company.
He always kept himself busy and enjoyed repairing manual clocks as a hobby.
Surviving are his four children: Barbara Nagle of Oley; David Fisher, husband of Rose
(Schmeck) of Laureldale; John Fisher, husband of Karen of Coatesville; and Robert
Fisher of Laureldale.
Other survivors include his nine grandchildren: Bryan Fisher, Carolyn Neider, Beth
Kring, Brooke Forrer, Kelly Weaver, Mike Fisher, Bradley Fisher, Brett Fisher, and
Brandi Fisher; and 17 great grandchildren: Alexa Fisher, Alexander Fisher, Ariel Davila,
Alannah Daub, Bret Daub, Julia Neider, Harrison Neider, Andrew Kring, Sarah Kring,
Theodore Forrer, Madeleine Forrer, Sydney Weaver, Saige Weaver, McKenna Moyer,
Hunter Moyer, Jordan, and Elliot Benz.
There are four great great grandchildren surviving: Paisley, Thorin, Jayden, and
Annalease.
Warren was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Moyer, wife of John; his
granddaughter, Melanie Benz, and his six siblings, Clarence Sanders, Verna Wunder,
Jay Fisher, Norman Sanders, Sarah Fisher, and Mildred Fisher.
Services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Stitzel Family Funeral
Homes & Crematory Inc., Laureldale. A viewing will be held the day prior, June 12, 2025
from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. Laureldale.
Burial will take place at Laureldale Cemetery following the service on Friday.
