On January 19th, Bill Clewell passed to reunite with friends and relatives who left before him.
Bill was born in Williamsport, PA on March 7, 1938, to Paul H. Clewell (deceased), and Florence T. Wood Clewell, (deceased).
He graduated from Reading High School in 1957. He studied at the former Wyomissing Polytec Institute.
He worked for Gilbert Associates (Commonwealth) and Parsons over a fifty-year career in the engineering field.
He is a veteran of the US Army Reserves.
His hobby was sports of any kind. His passions were the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He was so enamored with sports; he dedicated an entire room in his house plus part of the attic to collecting memorabilia.
He is survived by his wife Connie (Smith) for sixty years. He is also survived by two sons, Christopher J and fiancé Gail Chiavetta of Hummelstown, PA, and Craig W. and fiancé Kelly Christ of Harrisburg. Two grandchildren, Jacob W. of Loveland, Colorado and Taylor A of Harrisburg. Others that will miss him are two sister- in- laws, two brother-in-law, nieces and nephews and many friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, January 27th, 2023, at 3:30 P.M., at Stitzel Family Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held one and a half hours prior to the service, from 2 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
