William Richard Satter

William “Billy” Richard Satter, 66, of Exeter Township, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. 

He was the husband of Estella (Updegrove) Satter. 

Born January 27, 1960 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Earl Satter and Ardell (Keith) Satter. 

Billy was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved cheering them on every Sunday. When the Cowboys weren't playing he would be watching WWE or his black and white shows, which were Gun Smoke and anything with Andy Griffith. He could approach a stranger and become their best friend within minutes of meeting them. Everyone knew him at his local stores. He had a friendly soul and a kind heart which passed along to the people he would interact with. 

Surviving are four children: Katelyn (Satter) Gonzalez, wife of Antonio of Shillington, PA; Kristina (Satter) Roshia, wife of Arron of Hershey, PA; Kyle Satter of Temple, PA; Cody Satter of Exeter Township. 

Also surviving are six grandchildren: Jaakob Gonzalez; Elliot Gonzalez; Elias Gonzalez; Cayleb Dangleman; Dallas Dangleman; Collin Satter; and one granddaughter on the way. 

Four siblings are surviving: Nancy Liskey wife of Ken of Bernville Township. Linda (Satter) Eisenhour, wife of Harry of Exeter Township; Barry Satter of Exeter Township; Bonnie (Satter) Riegel, wife of Eddie of Exeter. His best friend Eric Wiedinmyer (Uncle Eric) of Birdsboro is also surviving. 

Billy was predeceased by two siblings: Earl Satter Jr.; and Randy Satter. 

A visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, from 11 a .m. to 12 p.m. at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. Oley, 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. A service will follow at 12 p.m. at the same location. Burial will take place at Frieden’s Cemetery, Oley, PA.
