William “Bill” Vernon Crim, 86, of Myerstown, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2022 at the Lebanon VA hospital.
He was born July 10, 1935 in Mohawk, New York, son of the late William J. and Golda (Burton) Crim.
At one time, Bill was employed by the New York State Department of Corrections, a job he truly enjoyed. He also held several other security jobs throughout his life. Most recently he worked for Manheim Auto Auctions.
Bill was previously a member and Past President of the Alexander Hose Co. #1, Mohawk N.Y., a member of the Renegades Drill Team, and a member of several fraternal organizations. He most recently was a volunteer for the Veterans Administration Hospital. During his lifetime, he enjoyed hunting and fishing around New York State, especially the Adirondacks.
Surviving are his children: Mark W., husband of Stacie J. (Leonis) Crim of Exeter Township; Victoria A. Crim of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Other survivors include four grandchildren: Leigh-Ann Crim, Eric Crim, Daniel Crim, and Bryan Crim, and a great grandson Myles Tobias Johnson, and several nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his daughter: Lucinda "Cindy" Ella Crim and siblings Lauren Crim and Donald Crim.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
