William "Bill" Raymond Zeiber

William “Bill” Raymond Zeiber, 74, of Laureldale, died December 24, 2023 in Tower Health / Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Maria DeJesus Pazmino Zeiber.

Born January 10, 1949, in Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Raymond V., and Marie F. (Endy) Zeiber.

He was a 1966 graduate of Exeter High School and attended Millersville State College.

Bill was last employed as a mechanic with Sweet Street Desserts, Reading, until his retirement.

He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Bill also enjoyed Oldies music, cats, military history, and football - first playing with Exeter High School, and later watching, especially Penn State games.

He was the proud father of two daughters: Rebecca A. (Zeiber) Irelan, wife of Peter D. Irelan of New Durham, New Hampshire, and Kristen A. Zeiber of Philadelphia; and grandfather of Ruby E. Irelan.

Other survivors include three stepchildren: Giovanni Alvarado, Jenny Alvarado, and Eduardo Alvarado; 8 step grandchildren; and 1 step great grandchild.

Two siblings also survive him: Gerald, husband of Linda Zeiber, and Marilyn “Midge” (Zeiber) White, wife of Craig White.

He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Lorraina Alvarado.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
