Zara Ann Slapkowski

Zara Ann Slapkowski, 24, of Reading, unexpectedly Lost her Fight with Diabetes on October 23, 2023 in Tower Health / Reading Hospital.

Born October 31, 1998, she was a daughter of Travis Slapkowski and Sheena'  Ann Pentland.

She attended Oley / Wilson High School where she enjoyed cheerleading and playing field hockey.

Zara loved Music , hanging out, food, writing and drawing.

She is survived by her mother, Sheena' Ann Pentland, partner of Brian Iaccarino of Reading and her father, Travis Slapkowski, companion of Veronica Dube of Reading  and was raised by Shane Weber, husband of Gina Weber of Reading.

Zara is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Ann L. (Strunk), wife of Terry McLean of Shoemakersville and her paternal grandmother, Suzanne (Ritter) Slapkowski Mitchell, wife of Harry Mitchell of Cumru Township.

She was the younger sister of Travis W. Slapkowski of Spring Township and the older sister of Logan S. Weber of Reading and Allison Slapkowski.

Other survivors include several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Zara was predeceased by her Grandfathers: George Pentland and Thomas Slapkowski.

She was a vibrant, funny, kind person. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation will be held Friday, October 27th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm with a time for sharing beginning at 7:00 pm in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
