David Joseph Dugan

David Joseph Dugan, 76, of Reading, passed away October 8, 2016 in the Diakon Lutheran Home in Topton.

He was the husband of Lia Denise (Rissmiller) Dugan, whom he married July 29, 1995.

Born in Reading on June 8, 1940, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Sweeney) Dugan.

David attended Central Catholic High School.

He worked at Carpenter Technology as a machinist for 31 years.  

David was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

He loved to do vegetable gardening and all types of lawn work. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball.

David is survived by a daughter, Jennifer, wife of Benjamin Randazzo of Reading and a sister Judith, wife of Rod Dunkle of Myerstown.

Other survivors include his 3 grandchildren: Catherine Irwin, Michael Irwin, Chelsey Frost and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter Kathleen Dugan who passed away December 28, 1982.

Services will be held Friday, October 14th, 2016 at 10:30 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
