Mr. Reese was my teacher, football and track coach. I’m so glad we were able to cross paths on this journey . He was a class act, friend and mentor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Lyndell, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I will always remember Ed from high school days, and through the years out brief conversations when we bumped into each other.

We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Eddie's family. Eddie and I coached against each other at rival schools but we were still good friends. He was a great competitor as a coach and always got the most out of his teams. We often shard ideas and rooted for each other's athletes at the large meets. He was a class act and a credit to his family, school and our sport. I personally will miss him. Again I am sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the Reese family and my prayers go out to them. I remember Mr. Reese well both as a math teacher as well as from my track days at Gov. Mifflin. As an official, I always enjoyed doing meets where his team was involved. He was a a good coach and was fair as well. Will miss coming to Mifflin meets and seeing Mr, Reese there. He was a big help at the dual meets after he retired.

Truly one of the best coaches and men I have ever encountered. He pushed me to be the best runner that I could be, but more importantly, was always there to guide and support off of the track. You will be missed. RIP Coach

One of the more difficult challenges throughout life is searching for the words expressing the loss of a friend, colleague, coach, mentor, or loved one. Another inspirational Governor Mifflin teacher has passed from our presences here on earth. Ed's legacy lives on in the many lives he's touched while here with us. Ed has well worn many caps in his life, quietly and humbly. More succinctly stated: "How can the dead be truly dead when they still live in the souls of those who are left behind?" "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter". Farewell my Brother, S. K., T. Gahres 32°

He was an amazing teacher, coach, and track “dad”. He cared about my performance on and off the field-I wouldn’t be half the person I am, let alone half the teacher I am without his influence. My family and I send our deepest sympathies and condolences.

I am so sorry to hear about Eddie, graduated with him in '63 way too young for something like this to happen to him. Sending condolences to his wife and family. You all will be in our prayers and thoughts.
