I am deeply saddened to hear of Matt's passing. I met him by chance when I was 16. He would be the first boy I ever dated (so respectful, caring) and later one of my dearest friends. We lost touch for several years, but briefly reconnected on facebook. His memory will be in my heart always. May God welcome him home with open arms, and may his family and loved ones find comfort knowing that he will live on in the hearts of the people he touched.
