David Samson Shields

David Samson Shields, infant son of David J. and Brittany L. (Wright) Shields of Oley, died January 17, 2018 in the Reading Hospital NICU, in the presence of his beloved parents and the Holy Spirit.

He is survived by his sister, Makayla Aviles.

David is also survived by his paternal grandparents: David S., husband of Barbara C. (Spadaro) Shields of Oley Twp., and his maternal grandfather: Bruce E. Sr., husband of Marcella A. (Chadwick) Wright of Schwenksville and his maternal grandmother, Bonnie L. Iacobelli of Skippack.

Other survivors include his paternal great grandmother, Agnes T. (Fortino), widow of David J. Shields of Long Island, New York and his maternal great grandmother, Marie A. (Lamia) Murphy, of Long Island, NY and widow of Francis Murphy and Vincent Iacobelli.

Services will be Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 am in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until time of services.

Burial will be in Union Church (Bertolet) Cemetery, Oley.
