Obituary

Eleanor Mae Bigony, 78, of Mohrsville went home to be with the love of her life Ronald Irvin Bigony, Sr. (2021) on February 4, 2023 at the Reading Hospital.

Born September 21, 1944 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thurman Kenneth and Esther Irene (Cornell) Lessig, Sr.

Eleanor was employed by Kings Department Store, NGN and the shoe factory.

She enjoyed going to classic car shows with her husband, loved QVC but most especially she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are three children: Ronald "Dooley" I. Bigony, Jr., Mohrsville; Jacqueline M., wife of William T. Bidden, Perry Twp.; and Gerald R., husband of Amie L. Bigony, Bern Twp. Two grandchildren, Johnathan J. Blatt, and Victoria M. Blatt, both of Leesport.

Also surviving are her siblings: Darlene "Dar" Wenger of Ephrata, Judy Remp of Mohnton, Mary Maurer of Fleetwood, Jeffery Lessig of Delaware and Butch “Butchy” Lessig.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Barbara Roth, Susie Dale and Thurman Lessig, Jr.

It was Eleanor’s wishes that there are no services.
